Posters will be accepted on a first-come/first-serve basis. Note that the Outstanding Student Presentation Competition is closed however. Special Student and Early Career Awards: Thanks to the U.S. Carbon Cycle Science Program, NASA and USDA NIFA, a special student and early career travel support fund has been established:
- For students (including those graduating Fall 2019), they must submit a poster abstract for the Outstanding Student Presentation Competition. Encourage your students and fresh graduates to participate
- For early career attendees (= 5 years post terminal degree conferral), support will be given on a need-based, case-by-case basis. Please contact Libby Larson libby.larson@nasa.gov and Gyami Shrestha gshrestha@usgcrp.gov if you wish to apply for these funds. Include a short CV ( 5 pages) and a = 250 word (double spaced, 12 pt font) statement describing your support need, how you plan to utilize your meeting experience and contribute to the meeting outcomes. Deadline to apply: February 28, 2020 (separate from student award deadline).
Depending on the number of need-based qualified applicants for this award, we will at least cover registration fees but more may be available to support other travel costs.
