The 2020 North American Carbon Program Open Science Meeting (NACP OSM) Planning Committee is soliciting proposals from the broader community for breakout topics that will bring new, cross-cutting, and interdisciplinary discussions and activities to NACP.

In keeping with the 2020 Open science meeting themes, breakouts should have a general aim to promote stronger connections between research and application, natural and social science, science and policy. While some presentations may be necessary, they should be designed primarily to facilitate discussion. They should also place a strong emphasis on fostering new collaborations among researchers, practitioners and decision-makers, as well as promoting the participation of early career scientists.
